This hands-on workshop focuses on currently available AI tools and their meaningful use, illustrated through examples from language teaching. We will look at popular platforms (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, NotebookLM, ElevenLabs, NapkinAI) and try out concrete use cases - designing learning materials and interactive content in the form of tailored mini-apps, creating AI agents and workflows, and integrating AI tools into teaching itself to support students’ digital literacy and critical thinking. You will leave with your own “AI toolbox” - a set of prompts and mini-processes that can be applied in any discipline.
