One of the best parts of the two semester educational program Development of pedagogical competencies is the reflection on teaching and collaboration with a selected mentor. This program is designated for employees of MU only, as part of the project MUNI 4.0 and therefore neither doctoral candidates nor regular external teachers are eligible to partake in it. Through the offer of mentoring, we are able to accommodate those unable to be a part of MUNI 4.0.
Who is mentoring intended for?
The primary target group will be mostly new academic teachers from the ranks of doctoral candidates and young academics taking part in teaching. We also welcome the presence of regular external teachers and more experienced academics who are looking for new inspiration for their teaching. In short, mentoring is here for everyone.
Collaboration procedure mentor–mentee
creation of order between mentor and mentee
filming of mentee’s current teaching form
concerted reflexion on the recording between mentor-mentee in the context of the order
suggestion of changes in teaching and the manner of their implementation
filming of mentee’s new teaching form
concerted reflexion on the recording between mentor-mentee in the context of suggested changes, planning of future course of action
final meeting – review of order, evaluation of collaboration between mentor-mentee
