Being gender sensitive in education does not mean following a list of rules. It means, first and foremost, being able to reflect on our stereotypical expectations and evaluations, actively and dynamically seeking ways to reconcile the reality of unequal structural conditions with the need to establish the same rules for all. We will reflect on all of this together during our seminar, using a variety of interactive techniques that you can use in your teaching on other topics. The skills you learn will help you create an inclusive and gender-sensitive learning environment that better meets the needs and experiences of all students, regardless of their sex or gender identity. This will improve teaching effectiveness and promote equality and diversity in education.
