beginner teachers of MU, students of Ph.D. study programmes
How many lines of text should be on a presentation slide? What is a good ratio of text on the screen versus speaking notes? Which images should be included on the slides? In this interactive workshop, discuss beginner-level presentation design skills to answer these questions. The mission is to help you build and scale your slides into robust learning experiences that benefit your learning goals and your audiences, by putting into practice Mayer's Principles of Multimedia Learning into your presentations. We discuss optimal approaches to the visual design of presentation slides, as well as technology tips for traditional presentation tools such as PowerPoint/Google Slides, and introduce you to new tools to try.
