The workshop will advise how to set up assessments in the course to serve us and the learners well. We will discuss what and how to assess and determine what formative elements our assessments can have to provide effective feedback to learners. We will look at the specific benefits and barriers to using assessment in a formative capacity in a higher education setting. We will share, discuss and inspire each other in using specific strategies for setting assessments for exams and credit to maximise their learning potential.
