language of the event

CORE courses are specific in that male and female students from various disciplines attend them. The teachers' job is to introduce students to the fundamentals of their field in aᅠway that they can understand. Therefore, it is necessary to tailor the vocabulary and depth of immersion in the topic to aᅠdiverse group of learners who are not usually familiar with the terminology of the discipline represented. At the same time, continually checking our learners' understanding in various ways is necessary. In this workshop, we will explore together how to modify our vocabulary so that what we say can be understood by laypeople and how to determine if they understand us. The principles we uncover will be both practiced and reflected upon.

* The agenda for this workshop is almost the same as last academic year, so if you have already taken it, we do not recommend retaking it.
