Learning new material can be challenging for students. As teachers, we've been in our field for so long that we often can't imagine what it's like to be a beginner. The teacher in the role of information designer can overcome this challenge by thinking carefully about what information to select and how to prepare materials - including how to work with them in the classroom. The aim is to avoid overwhelm and loss of motivation for students, and instead to promote their understanding and consolidation of knowledge. Together, let's look for ways to effectively plan, prepare and deliver lessons in a way that truly stimulates student learning. The workshop will be led by Eva Matějková, who is a memeber of the Three Teachers project.

Lecturers

Three Teachers

Kateřina Švermová, Eva Matějková, and Aneta Gáborová are the three teachers behind the project. The mission of the three teachers is to ensure that teachers are not left alone in the challenges of teaching. They produce a podcast, articles, and run support groups for teachers. Together, they combine experience working with children, students, and learners at all levels of education, from kindergarten to college, and adult.
