L&D coordinators

The Excel for advanced users workshop will streamline how users work with Excel and extend it with more complex formulas and functions. The workshop already assumes that the user is familiar with the program and has automated the basics of its operation.

Contents

  • expansion of basic functions and their efficient use
  • absolute and relative referencing and their use in formulas ($ dollars)
  • conditional formatting and its use
  • conditional functions =IF(), =SUMIF(), =COUNTIF()
  • filtering and sorting data
  • contingency table basics

Goals

  • You will make your work more efficient.
  • You will be able to use more complex formulas.
  • You will be able to automate your work with Excel.
  • You will apprehend when using more complex formulas and functions is appropriate.
  • You will practice your new knowledge with plenty of examples.

Marek Rozehnal studied at the Faculty of Economics and Administration of Masaryk University. He has been training MS Office products for ten years, specializing in more complex operations in the Excel environment. Now, he works as a CEO in an international company and teaches to make his work more enjoyable.
