The Excel for advanced users workshop will streamline how users work with Excel and extend it with more complex formulas and functions. The workshop already assumes that the user is familiar with the program and has automated the basics of its operation.

Contents

  • advanced sorting and filtering
  • advanced functions, function nesting
  • advanced conditional formatting
  • input data constraints, purpose and use, implementation and input data constraint options
  • data linking, inter-sheet and inter-document linking, use and pitfalls of linking
  • Excel analytical tools – finding solutions
  • search functions, types and uses of search functions, database functions
  • use of functions such as sum with condition, count and count with condition,
  • contingency tables, purpose, creation, use and modification of contingency tables, creating a graph from a contingency table

Goals

  • You will make your work more efficient.
  • You will be able to use more complex formulas.
  • You will be able to automate your work with Excel.
  • You will apprehend when using more complex formulas and functions is appropriate.
  • You will practice your new knowledge with plenty of examples.

Ing. Marek Rozehnal

Marek Rozehnal studied at the Faculty of Economics and Administration of Masaryk University. He has been training MS Office products for ten years, specializing in more complex operations in the Excel environment. Now, he works as a CEO in an international company and teaches to make his work more enjoyable.
