At the workshop, we will look together for answers to the key question: What motivates students to learn?

We will focus on the classification of motives, introducing self-determination theory. We will show the attitudinal and didactic possibilities to support learners' motivation. We will reflect together on our own experiences, discuss problematic issues and share examples from different disciplines and forms of teaching.
