The workshop is designed for all those who want to think about ways to open diverse educational opportunities to different target groups. The concept of flexibility in education is nowadays encountered wherever we want to emphasize the ability of students, teachers and educational institutions to use, choose and move between different forms, methods and means in learning and education as needed to achieve intended learning outcomes for various target groups or even individuals through different pathways.

We will discuss the basic principles of flexible learning and reflect on the possibilities of designing learning programmes that allow learners different degrees of flexibility.

Which learning strategies can each teacher use to increase the learning flexibility of their learners? Where can learning be adapted to learners' needs, and where must clear boundaries be set? What degree of flexibility can increase learners' success, and what is already counterproductive? These are all questions we will touch upon and to which we will seek answers.

Please count on your active participation during the workshop and the application of the BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) concept. So please bring your mobile phone, tablet or laptop; we will use them during the workshop.
