This workshop is designed for individuals looking to improve their mental health and develop skills promoting psychological well-being and resilience and preventing burnout. The half-day will be filled with interesting information and interactive sessions led by an experienced mental health professional. We will discuss various topics, including the main pillars of psychological well-being, sources of resilience, the risk and protective factors for burnout, and basic relaxation techniques. We will provide practical tools and techniques that can be easily incorporated into daily life. If you want to enhance your psychological well-being and prevent burnout, we cordially invite you to attend this workshop. You will have the opportunity to learn more about the benefits of well-being and resilience, gain practical experience and leave feeling inspired and empowered.

Alena Slezáčková is an associate professor of psychology at the Institute of Medical Psychology and Ethics, Faculty of Medicine, Masaryk University in Brno. Her research focuses on mental health and psychological well-being. She is a certified lecturer in resilience, founder and head of the Centre for Positive Psychology in the Czech Republic, a member of the board of the European Society of Positive Psychology (ENPP), and a member of the professional board of the Mindfulness Research and Practice Network at MU. She has participated in several domestic and international research projects and is the author of numerous publications in the field of positive psychology and health psychology. She is also a lecturer and lecturer.

Practical information

The program also includes a one-hour online Follow-up held in January 2024, aiming to reflect on the past event, share the experiences using the acquired knowledge and methods in practice, and get additional ideas and recommendations. The date and time of this online meeting will be jointly determined at the workshop.
