Junior Manager

The aim of this program is to develop beginners or less experienced leaders in the field of team and workplace management. The program is designed to provide junior managers with the necessary tools, knowledge and skills to succeed in their management role. Through the program, you will work on developing managerial competencies that will help you effectively lead a team, manage managerial tasks, solve problems and ultimately be able to develop yourself. The stimulating and encouraging atmosphere of the workshops will give you confidence and help you to be more successful in a leadership position.

Who is the program for?

Academic and non-academic staff from Faculties, Institutes, Rector`s Office and other university units, who are junior or senior managers.

How can I apply for the program?

If you are interested in being accepted into the program, please follow the processes of your faculty or unit. That is, contact your manager, the L&D Coordinator, or other person representing development and training in your workplace.

What is the schedule of the program?

The program lasts one semester, specifically 42 hours. The development program consists of 6 days. We always open the program in spring and autumn based on interest.

How do you get to Motiv P?

Tram nr. 8, 9, 10: to the Životského bus stop and then walk along Štolcova Street – see the marked route on the map (about 7 minutes).

Bus nr. 47 (from the Main Station), č. 49 (from the bus stop Úzká): to the Psychiatric Hospital stop.

By car: parking in Štolcova or Húskova street.

In what language is the program held?

The program is conducted in Czech language. If you are interested, it can also be conducted in English. The program in English can be offered under the following conditions:

  • Faculty, Institute, other unit makes a binding request to CERPEK for a program based on the training needs of the staff. If full capacity is guaranteed, i.e. usually a minimum of 10 - maximum of 12 participants, CERPEK will organise the program.

  • If the number of participants from the requesting faculty is not sufficient, CERPEK will offer such a program through the L&D coordinators to other faculties and units. The program will be organised if the minimum of participants is reached.

What is the capacity of the program?

The maximum number of participants for the program is 12.

What are the requirements for obtaining the certificate?

Active participation in at least 4 out of 6 workshops.
